Makeup Artist in our Network
Halo Hair Foundation offers both permanent and non-permanent make up to patients seeking specific services.
For permanent makeup, HHF provides microblading as well as areola reconstruction. Microblading is a semi-permanent technique for enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows, in which pigment is scratched into the skin in fine, short strokes resembling hair, using a hand tool with a blade formed of tiny needles. This results in natural looking eyebrows, regardless of hair-loss. Areola reconstruction is a procedure available to patients who may need areolas reconstructed after breast cancer. The goal of an areola pigmentation tattoo is to create a very natural areola and nipple, thus restoring the breast's natural beauty.
It is recommended that clients undergo microblading before starting chemotherapy to lessen the risk for infection. However, if written approval is given by the oncologist, HHF will still provide this service. Areola reconstruction can be performed after patients are done going through treatment and, therefore, will reduce the risk of infection.
HHF also offers non-permenant make up in various cities. Non-permanent makeup may be useful to those who want to learn proper techniques for drawing on eyebrows or other facial features, while providing a non-permanent solution.
If you are a makeup artist looking to give back to your community, look no further. Halo Hair foundation is always looking for makeup artists to join our network all over the United States.
